About
McAnnulty Elementary School is a Kindergarten Center comprised of approximately 335 students. As a Kindergarten Center, we are able to provide Kindergarten Students with a unique start to their educational journey. Focusing only on our youngest learners, we are able to create and provide a personalized approach to early education. In addition to our CKLA- ELA Program and Cengage Big Ideas- Math Program, we provide students with opportunities to develop socially and emotionally. to In addition to the core academic subjects, students rotate through an encore schedule including: physical education, music, and the Imagination Station!
The McAnnulty staff implements developmentally appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of all students. Classroom teachers utilize various instructional strategies including: differentiated instruction, small group instruction, and whole-group instruction. Students, in turn, are afforded the opportunity to learn at their own individual levels.
At McAnnulty, our children are encouraged to be a McAnnulty “Super Friend” by exhibiting exceptional behavior and by showing kindness to others. Throughout the school year, we will be having a number of activities to promote a sense of community including assemblies, special visitors, and theme days. Our plan includes an anti-bullying component as well as a focus on good manners and kindness towards others.
Our goal at McAnnulty Elementary is to partner with families and the community to ensure the success of all of our students!
