| Mr.Doug Widmer a volunteer fireman from Baldwin-Whitehall Company # 301 visited learners in Room 140 at McAnnulty in Mrs.Bruder's Busy Buddy Bees classroom to explain fire safety rules and stressed the importance of families actually practicing a mock fire safety drill in their homes. He feels very strongly about families taking this very seriously and actually having this mock experience because it could really make the difference in a real emergency situation since it has been practiced beforehand. Jacob Widmer helped his classmates try on his father's fireman uniform, while Mrs.Widmer furnished every child with a complimentary picture. |

100 Eyes on You |

| Mrs. Bruder's Busy Buddy Bees celebrated 100 days of school with activity stations that required using teamwork to build structures with 100 cups and 100 playing cards! The children built pyramids and cardhouses! They were also the life of the party with their 100 day glasses! |

| Reading is Fundamental! RIF is the nations largest children's literacy organization. RIF programs offer enriching activities that spark children's interest in reading. Thanks to the McAnnulty PTA and RIF each student at McAnnulty received a free book of their choice. |
